I have a thing for fried rice. The taste, the colors, oh, I love it. One of the most popular recipes on the blog is my Homemade Fried Rice, with Sweet and Sour Chicken. I do this all the time, especially when we have friends or family over for dinner. It is definitely worthy of a welcome and is always a hit!

This Hawaiian fried rice recipe I’m sharing today is a new favorite. It has all the elements of traditional fried rice, but with a better taste and texture. Hawaiian Chicken Recipe
One of the best tips I can give for good fried rice is to use cold rice. The firmness of the cold rice is what gives it the perfect texture.
If you use freshly cooked rice, the mixture will be smooth! So take my word for it, make the rice in the morning or the day before, then refrigerate in an airtight container. Once refrigerated for at least 6 to 8 hours, it should be nice and cold and ready to go!
